Magic Beans ( is one of my favorite web sites for anything for my little girl. They have great products from great brands and at great prices. For example one of the only places I have seen a multi pack of Mustela wipes at a discounted cost (more on those amazing wipes another time)

A few months ago they ran a fabulous giveaway month-basically every day they had a drawing for a prize ranging from toys to super expensive strollers. And I am so excited because the giveaway is back in time for the Holidays.

Make sure you check out the Magic Beans Giveaway and enter each day to win that day’s prize. And while you are there make sure you check out the rest of the site!

If you are not yet a fan of Stila Cosmetics you really must give them a try. They were one of the first trendier cosmetics lines that sprung up to give us what the mass department store brands were not giving us.

Of course through the years I was a little (more) disloyal and tried many other brands but I have come back full circle and count Stila as one of my go to brands especially for eye shadow and the lip glazes.

Well right now Stila has an unbelievable set available called The Gift of Appreciation-and boy do I appreciate it!!

It is $192 in value for only $38 and they are all items you will want to use right away. I got mine in the mail tonight and am so excited I called all my friends to tell them and am now writing fast so you can grab this set before it disappears.

Set contains:

Baked Eye Shadow Trio – Gold Glow
Kajal Eye Liner – Topaz
Illuminating Finishing Powder – Rose Gold
Lash Visor (mascara) – Brown
Plumping Lip Glaze – Minty Mint
Long Wear Lip Color – Flushed
Pressed Powder – Medium
Lip Rouge – Pucker (this is a liquid lip stain with a pen like applicator)
Eye Pencil Sharpener

You can get the set both at Stila direct or at Sephora.

Dont forget that if you sign up for Stila email you receive a coupon for 20% off your first purchase.

Have not been able to blog for a while as I was on vacation in France. I did hunt up some fabulous items during my trip that I will be sharing with you little by little.

France is just an amazing country full of decadent food, wine, clothes, cosmetics and as I discovered a fascination for anything to do with babies and children. I have never seen such amazing clothes for babies and even the plates and the baby food itself was out of this world. It was a little bit of a letdown shopping at my local supermarket here after the trip.

So I will relive my trip telling you about all the wonderful discoveries I made there which of course are luxe but on a budget.
